I remember couple of month ago saw this video about Cuba
Street Racing, and I can say it’s amazing how these people bring back from
death these old cars. For a chustro owner sometime find parts for your old car
it is a pain in the ass, but these people not just create their own spare
parts, they do whatever is possible to make them run. I Cuba and most parts of
the world street racing is illegal, but the difference between us and Cubans are
the race track.
We have race tracks, well at least in Puerto Rico what is left of them… The lack of maintenance by the owners is something that basically doom all race tracks in Puerto Rico and also the government does not help at all. It’s good to hear that the Cuban government are taking action to promote the movement, at least in small steps.
